    Cookie Policy

    Last updated October 21, 2026

This policy explains how Nucleus Institute uses cookies and similar browser storage on our websites and in Nucleus OS. We keep it short because we keep the list short. For how we handle personal information more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.

    1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work the same way for our purposes, so this policy covers both and calls them “cookies.”

    2. Categories we use

Our consent banner groups cookies into four categories:

    Cookie categories
    CategoryPurposeDefault
Necessary CookiesRequired to sign you in, keep your session secure, complete payments, and remember your consent choice. These cannot be switched off.Always on
Analytics CookiesWould help us understand how the site is used. We do not currently run any analytics cookies; if we add them, they will only load after you opt in.Off until you opt in
Marketing CookiesMeasure the performance of our advertising, such as whether a visit from a Google ad led to a demo booking. This site uses the Google Ads tag for conversion measurement.Off until you opt in
Preference CookiesRemember choices such as light or dark theme so the site looks the way you left it.Off until you opt in

    3. What we actually set

Stripe cookies (e.g. __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid)Cookie (third-party)NecessarySet by Stripe only on checkout and payment pages, for payment processing and fraud prevention.Up to 1 year (set by Stripe)

We do not use analytics cookies. We use the Google Ads tag to measure whether our ads lead to actions such as demo bookings. You can opt out of marketing cookies from your cookie preferences or through Google’s ad settings.

    4. Third parties

Some features rely on providers that may set their own cookies when you use them, such as Google when you choose “Sign in with Google” and Stripe when you pay. Their use is governed by their own policies. Our subprocessors are listed on our Security page.

    5. Managing your choices

You can change your choices at any time. Opening your preferences shows each category with a switch; necessary cookies stay on because the site cannot work without them.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies will sign you out and may stop parts of Nucleus OS from working.
